Synchronising email with Mail is simple using POP3 or IMAP4 and encrypted versions of these protocols.

The Active Mail recommended email client giving the best experience of Active Mail for Mac users.

iPhone
Synchronising email with iPhone is simple using POP3 or IMAP4 and encrypted versions of these protocols. Native Exchange 'direct push' support will be available for these devices following the next firmware update issued by Apple.

Out Of Office Messages

An automatic email reply notifying an email sender that the recipient is unavailable, for example on holiday.

Address List

A collection of contact details and email addresses made available to Outlook 2007, Outlook Web Access 2007 and Windows Mobile.

Remote Wipe

A feature of Exchange 2007 that allows Windows Mobile devices to be erased if they are lost or stolen. Remote wipe can be initiated by users via Outlook Web Access 2007.

Safe List

A group of email addresses and email domains configured in Outlook which bypass Antispam filters.

Block List

A group of email systems and email domains which are blocked automatically by Antispam filters due to their presence on the list.
